We were excited (and a little nervous) as the whole Wonderful team embarking on a virtually carbon net zero Three Peak Challenge!
Each team member was to walk the equivalent of three peaks, covering about 23 miles, from their home location. By doing so, removing a large proportion of the carbon footprint produced by travelling between locations and environmental damage to these well worn tracks.
This madness was all in aid of raising funds for Andhra Pradesh Day Care Centre to support the work they do in providing food and education for the children in the community.
Meet the team members who bravely took on the challenge.
23 miles is a pretty long way! That’s 37km, nearly 90% of a marathon and the equivalent of walking up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike ⛰️ but we did it!!
Well done to the whole team, you did an amazing job!
All donations went to support a Day Care Centre providing education to families in the Andhra Pradesh region of India. By offering primary education for children and employment schemes for parents, the Day Care Centre is working to break the cycle of poverty.
It’s not too late to donate! If you would like to make and a positive impact of families in Andhra Pradesh then follow the link below to give 🫶
Thank you!
